CNETS is looking for leaders like you to join our board of directors. For 16 years, our volunteer board has been the strategic heart of our organization, ensuring that in our work for neuroendocrine cancer patients, we deliver real results, respond to changes in the Canadian medical landscape and always deliver the highest ethical standards to be worthy of our public support.

REQUIREMENTS

CNETS needs a diverse skill set to be applied to vacant board member positions and welcomes new members with a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on board candidates with accounting/finance, communications/marketing, project management, advocacy, and leadership experience.

Should you not possess any of the above specific experience but believe you have other valuable skills and assets that would be of value to our community we encourage you to apply and share with us.

COMMITMENT

Board Members (Directors) are elected for a three-year term and are eligible for reappointment of two additional terms. Volunteers play a vital role in carrying out core functions of the organization and shaping the strategic direction. Estimated Time Commitment per month: 4-8 hours. Could be more depending on the level of individual engagement. Majority of engagement can be done virtually.
